Elite League Champion Cale Tanaka Joins Clan Academy to Inspire Young Players

The Clan Academy has a fantastic group of volunteer coaches who ensure that the players receive the best opportunities to develop their skills.
A former Elite League player has recently agreed to give up his time to help develop our youngsters and guide them on their ice hockey journey.
Cale Tanaka was an import in the Elite League for several seasons, and won the Play-Offs with the Coventry Blaze in 2015. Ontario born Cale also had a brief spell with the Clan as well as turning out with Hull, Dundee and Milton Keynes during his pro-career.
Now settled in Glasgow, Cale said ‘It’s great to be back on the ice and giving something back to the game I enjoyed for so long.
‘I’m enjoying the interaction with the kids, and it’s great to see them get this chance to develop within the Clan Academy.’
